The County will be conducting a Trust Act Community Forum on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 9:00 am in the Riverside County Board Chambers located on the 1st Floor of the County Administration Center, 4080 Lemon Street, Riverside, CA 92501.
Early voting for the Nov. 6 consolidated general election will be available at four locations in Riverside County. Early voting is available Friday (10/26) through Sunday (10/28) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside, on the first-floor northeast entrance near Forever 21; at the Westfield Palm Desert on the first floor across from Victoria’s Secret; and at the Promenade in Temecula on the first floor in front of the Macy’s Women’s Store (near the wall of Hope).
MORENO VALLEY, Ca.—A health education and conference center on Wednesday was formally named for retiring Riverside County Supervisor Marion Ashley and his wife, Mary, in recognition of their lifelong commitment to public service.
Approximately 685,000 vote-by-mail ballots will to be mailed to voters starting today (Oct. 9) for the consolidated general election on Nov. 6. Completed ballots must be received at the Registrar of Voters office or any polling place within the State of California no later than the close of polls on Election Day or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than three days after Election Day to be counted.
Free flu shots will be offered to the public next week at a clinic conducted as part of the Riverside County Public Health Department’s flu pandemic drill. The free flu shots are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 2 at the Sun City Civic Association, 26850 Sun City Blvd. in Sun City. Shots will be given out as long as they last.
An extensive review of Riverside County’s protective-services operations is under way to ensure best practices are in place to meet the county’s critical mission to protect at-risk children and adults. The review also will provide vital information and recommendations to help strengthen county protective services.
MORENO VALLEY, Ca.—Dr. Matthew Chang has been named the new director of RUHS Behavioral Health. He replaces former Director Steve Steinberg, who retired earlier this month after 25 years with the department.
