A free mobile phone health service for expectant and new parents is now widely available - in English and Spanish - to Riverside County parents who want to receive free text messages on essential health information and immunization reminders through the first year of their child’s life.
The Riverside County Registrar of Voters office certified the results of the March 25 Senate District 23 special primary election today (Thursday) and forwarded the certified results to the Board of Supervisors. The final official election results and statement of vote are available on the Registrar of Voters website at www.voteinfo.net. For information regarding the recount process, please call the Registrar of Voters office at (951) 486-7330.
To ensure that ballots reach election officials in time to be counted in Tuesday’s election (March 25), voters should not return their ballots by mail after Wednesday (March 19).
Assistant Registrar of Voters Rebecca A. Spencer, who has worked in the Riverside County registrar’s office for more than 14 years, has been named interim registrar of voters. The appointment by county Executive Officer Jay Orr follows Registrar Kari Verjil’s retirement and takes effect tomorrow (Friday)
