Monsoonal moisture brings threat of mud and debris flow to Cranston burn area

RIVERSIDE –The National Weather Service reports a chance for scattered heavy rain around the mountains starting today, Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Friday, Aug. 17. The Cranston fire left the ground on the mountaintop scorched with little ability to absorb water.
