Riverside County Vector Control Program will perform mosquito fogging in Nuevo on Monday

Due to a sample of mosquitos testing positive for West Nile virus and increased mosquito numbers, Riverside County Environmental Health Vector Control Program will spray in Nuevo on  Monday, August 8, 2016.  The area is Hemet Model Masters Airfield and Mystic Field.

Mosquito-control application scheduled for Murrieta on Wednesday evening

Due to the high number of mosquitos trapped in an area of Murrieta, the Riverside County Vector Control Program has scheduled ultra-low volume ground applications using truck-mounted sprayers to reduce the number of adult mosquitos. The treatment will occur in a portion of the area between Ivy Street and Manista Way, northeast of New Clay Street.
