The Riverside County Registrar of Voters office certified the results of the June 7 presidential primary election today (Tuesday) and forwarded the certified results to the Board of Supervisors. The final, official election results and statement of votes are available on the Registrar of Voters’ website at www.voteinfo.net. The certified election results include minor revisions in 15 contests that resulted from a discrepancy identified over the weekend during the certification count. The revisions did not affect the vote total for any candidate or measure by more than six votes, and did not change the outcome in any race.
By law, a request for a recount must be filed with the Registrar of Voters office within five days after election results are certified. The deadline to request a recount is July 11. The cost of a recount is paid for by the requestor. For more information regarding the recount process, please call the Registrar of Voters office at (951) 486-7330.
