Tuesday (Aug. 25) is Election Day.  The election includes the High Valleys Water District, Idyllwild Water District, Pine Cove Water District, Rancho California Water District and is not a countywide election.  It is also an all mail ballot election, so there will be no established polling places.

You may cast a ballot in the Registrar of Voters office on Election Day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. The Registrar of Voters office is located at 2724 Gateway Drive in Riverside.

Approximately 61,700 ballots have been issued and 9,700 voters already have cast ballots for the election.

All ballots must be in the possession of the Registrar of Voters by 8 p.m. on Election Day or be postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than three days after Election Day to be counted.

Registrar of Voters, Rebecca Spencer, encourages every eligible voter to cast a ballot in the election.
